The following is the guideline for Spring 2026 Graduate School early graduation.

1. Graduation Period: Second half of the 2025-2026 school year (August 2026 graduation)

2. Course shortening period (maximum)

  a. Master's: 6 months (combined bachelor and master's degree program is excluded from early graduation)

  b. Doctor's: 6 months

  c. Integrated Program: 1 year

3. Requirements for early graduation (※must complete prerequisite courses, if any)

  a. Master's: Completion of 24 credits, qualification exams (graduation exam for 3 courses, 1 foreign language exam (or replacement)), passing thesis (or thesis replacement).

  b. Doctor's: Completion of 36 credits, qualification exams (graduation exam for 4 courses, 1 foreign language exam (or replacement)), passing thesis.

  c. Integrated program: Completion of 60 credits, qualification exams (graduation exam for 4 courses, 1 foreign language exam(or replacement)), passing thesis.

          (Must score an average of 80 or more for all courses)

4. Early graduation application period and method

  a. Application period: Monday, March 16 - 3pm Friday, March 27, 2026.

  b. Application method: Fill out the attached application form and submit to Dongcheon Hall room 201.

5. Additional information

  a. Only students who complete all degree requirements in the Spring 2026 Semester can reduce their term of study.

  b. Because you can't apply directly for graduation exams, thesis presentation, etc. on the EDWARD system, the administration team can provide additional support.
