Applications for the replacement of the foreign language qualification exam for the Spring Semester 2025 in the Graduate School will be accepted as detailed below. Please make sure to submit your TOPIK results within the application period.

1. Application Period: September 8, 2025 (Monday) – December 16, 2025 (Tuesday)

2. Application Method

  o Log in to the EDWARD system.

  o Navigate to Academics → Graduation → Qualification Examination → "Foreign Language Examination Replacement" → Add → Save

  o Click the add button to enter the details of the foreign language exam scores obtained.

  o Attach a scanned copy of the original certificate (submission of the original certificate is not required).

3. Recognition of Foreign Language Exam Substitution (Currently enrolled students and graduates who have registered for at least one semester)

4. How to Check: Check after December 22, 2025 via one of the two methods below

  a. EDWARD system → Academics → Records → Student Records → View Student Information → Graduation Exam/Foreign Language Exam

  b. EDWARD system → Academics → Graduation → Pre-Graduation Evaluation → 대학원졸업자가진단

5. Further Information: For new students who were admitted Fall 2025 with TOPIK level 4 (TOPIK IBT level 4) or higher, language exam replacement will be done by the administration office and there is no need to apply separately.
