Students who have been assigned a thesis advisor, students who will be assigned a thesis advisor in the upcoming semester, students in their third semester or higher, and students who have completed their coursework (ABT)
Students enrolled in the Integrated Bachelor's and Mater's program: second semester.

3. Detailed Information
a. Research Plan Submission
In the EDWARD system → Academic Administration (학사행정)→ Graduation (졸업)→ Research (Practical Presentation) Plan Application (연구(실기발표)계획서신청)→ Enter information.
Enter the names of the committee members: The selection of reviewers is decided in consultation with the thesis advisor (The research plan reviewers are usually the same as the thesis examination committee members).
b. Master’s Program Research Plan Evaluation:
The thesis advisor and department chair will review the content for suitability, sign it, and submit it to the Graduate School Administrative Team
c. Doctoral Program Research Plan Evaluation:
The department, in consultation with the student, establishes a schedule for evaluating the research plan.
The committee evaluates the research plan and determines suitability, which is recorded in the evaluation report.
4. Required Documents
After entering the research plan, students must print it and submit it along with the list of committee members to the department. The department will then collect all documents and submit them to the Graduate School Administrative Team.
The doctoral research plan evaluation report must be signed by the committee chair, who will submit it to the Graduate School Administrative Team.
If the doctoral research plan is submitted but not reviewed, the committee chair will sign the report as “Unsuitable (Not Reviewed)” and submit it to the Graduate School Administrative Team.
5. Notes
Research Plan Input Items: Title, Research Objective (necessity, problem statement, research tasks), Theoretical Background and Justification, Hypothesis (required for specific papers or departments), Research Methods, Expected Results, References, Research Timeline.
Doctoral Program Research Plan Presentation and Evaluation Method: The presentation will be evaluated based on the input items and departmental criteria to determine suitability.
Submitting the research plan and receiving approval is required to qualify for the thesis defense in the following semester.
The doctoral research plan evaluation report format has changed – please use the attached format for submission.
