Notice of the 2024 Graduate School Degree Conferral Ceremony

 

Ⅰ

Date and Time (Location) and Eligibility

1. Date and Time: February 19, 2025 (Wednesday) at 11:00 AM

2. Location: Keimyung University Seongseo Campus Adams Chapel Grand Worship Hall

3. Eligibility: February 2025 graduates (see the attached file for the list of degree recipients), August 2024 graduates.

 

 

Ⅱ

Main Ceremony Program, Preparation of Graduation Gown, etc.

1. Main Ceremony Program

  - Opening Declaration / National Anthem / Bible Reading and Prayer / Academic Report

  - Degree Conferral (Individual) / Awards / Award Presentation Speech / Representative Graduate's Address

  - Celebratory Performance / School Song Singing / Benediction / Closing of the Ceremony

 

2. Preparation of Graduation Gown

  - PhD: Custom-made or Rental (graduation gown)

 (Graduation Gown Rental or Custom-made Providers: Search for 'Graduation Gown' on search sites like Naver.)

  - Master's: Rental at Room 213, Dongcheon Hall (Please bring your ID, available on the day of the degree conferral ceremony from 09:00 to 16:00).

 

3. Distribution of Degree Certificates

  - Duration: February 19, 2025 (Wednesday) from 09:00 to 16:00

: Degree certificates must be collected in person. Reissuance is not possible in case of loss.

- Location: Distribution at Room 213, Dongcheon Hall

: Starting from February 20, 2025 (Thursday), distribution will be at Room 201, Dongcheon Hall (Graduate School Administration Team).

 

Ⅲ

Degree Conferral Ceremony (Assigned Seating, Photo Wall)

1. Degree Certificate Distribution and Assigned Seating Information

  - PhD: Degree certificates will be awarded to all recipients on the stage (Assigned seating)

· Failure to arrive by 10:50 will result in exclusion from the list of degree recipients for the day
· August 2024 graduates do not need to bring the degree certificate that has already been distributed.

- Master's: Representative of Degree Recipients from Each Graduate School (Degree certificates will be awarded to one representative from each graduate school on the stage).

(Master's degree recipients do not have assigned seating; they may sit in any available seat within the seating block.)
  - Seating must be completed by 10:40.

- After the degree conferral ceremony, please return the case to the event coordinator.

- Doctoral program graduates and others eligible for assigned seating will be contacted via text message or phone call.

 

2. Photo Wall: 1st Floor Lobby, Dongcheon Hall

 

Ⅳ

Parking and Parking Lot

1. Parking Settlement (Free): Present the ceremony program to pass through for free (the ceremony program will serve as the parking pass instead of a ticket).

 

2. Parking: Uiyang Hall, around the Main Building, Art Center, etc. (Designated campus parking areas).
- Parking may be crowded. (Public transportation is recommended.)
